Truck I bought already had one in it

Huh, funny you mention it, so did mine. Anyone else's come with a Garrett?

It's actually a 1,500 dollar upgrade

How is it a $1500 upgrade? The stock Turbo on a powerstroke is made by Garrett. Now if you are talking about the Garrett 38R that is an upgrade.

It's an ok turbo. I personally would spend 1500 towards a different turbo but when your looking for that little more turbo and on a budget, it's fine..

Quicker spool ups than stock. Somewhat of a flow increase but its about the same as a housing upgrade on the stocker plus its non-servicable and not rebuildable. get a WOP or H2E

agreed garrets make good stock turbos and the upgrade is decent id look other places for a turbo for the money
