well i don't use my breaks alot. you must have a autoloader. when i did mine i just got ford pads. i don't really know how much dust they put off. i know ceramic pads a pretty dust free but the tend to crack.

I put drilled/slotted rotors and good pads(not ceramic) on mine for just over $200. I can usually kill brakes, but they're still in good shape after nearly 2 years.

I did a fair amount of searching and research because mine just got into the rotor on the driver side, I am fairly hard on my breaks and I do alot of driving, ceramic is the only choice for less dust, but they dont stop as good as semi metalic, I just ordered slotted and dimpled rotors from brake performance with the optional upgrade to premium semi metalic pads, out the door for the front axle, under $300. I looked at what is considered hi performance rotors at all of the parts houses and they were all special order, you could get better than stock rotors by the next day if not right then but I wanted something that can really take some abuse. those are nearly $500 and almost a week away from a local parts house. When I get them hopefully saturday or monday and get them installed I will let you know what I think of them.
