99 or 00??

Default 99 or 00??

Up grading my 97 psd they are both around 100k look exactly the same both in great conditiononly difference is the 99 is Manual and 1500 cheaper and the 00 is an auto, what would you guys think is better ?

Is the 99 an early year or later year? If the badge is on the door its more than likely later 99, BUT not always true.I'd like a manual but just me.

if it is a early 99, i here thier a lot more diffrent from the late 99's, thier a little less powered. i just got a 2000 with the 6 speed manual and it is bad ***.

Go drive them and decide. The amount of info given will not help us decide for you. If you like manuals, buy the manual. If you like autos, buy the auto. Don't worry too much about early 99 or late 99, they are both going to be an upgrade to your 97.

agreed drive them both you might not like how one handles than the other it all comes down to personal preference. consider what you are going to use it for before you buy good luck

You need to drive them both but if they are in equal or close to equal shape go with the 2000, the early 99 has smaller injectors and a different(I believe smaller) turbo, as well as a few other small differences. Here are the rest. https://www.dieselbombers.com/ford-p...tml#post666694
