Why is my 7.3 using too much oil

How much is to much? How many miles are on it?

It has 255 miles and it uses about a gallon every 500 to 700 miles

Does the truck smoke? Does it leak? Any oil in the downpipe? Any oil in the valley?

It does smoke sometimes not all the time. Haven't checked the down pipe and it does have some oil in the valley

I noticed there is some oil on the back of the turbo where it seats is there gaskets on this part of the turbo
