Well yall I've got some money to drop into my truck and wanted to get yalls opinions on what my next step should be. The truck is an 03 (pmr r probly in there but I'm not 100% bc I haven't checked) with intake exhaust ts 6 position (soon to be retuned) aem water meth running boost juice and an htt big bad wolf turbo. Gauges are all covered aswell
Also I have an airdog 150 that needs to be put on.

The truck is a DD and light hauler (5klb at most with 10klb loads on very rare ocassions) final goal for the truck is a reliable 400ish rwhp. Also the truck gets an avg of 40k miles per year so longevity of parts and over all reliability is extremely important (to the point that I am willing to say screw hp if I think it will leave me stranded on the side of the road)

So far I have a couple ideas

1 better hpop and do a fuel bowl delete and install the air dog at the same time

2 get a titan tank (I would enjoy having more fuel on board) and install the airdog at the same time and do a regulated return/fuel bowl delete

3 do prep work for 200/30% injectors

4 nfab steps and other cosmetics (my old lady is pissed that she has to climb into my truck
)

5 save my money and try to buy a blown 7.3 long block to build for a swap

Feel free to make any other suggestions. My budget is 1600-2000 and most things I can install myself

You really won't need an HPOP unless yours is worn for those injectors, so I say pass on that. It sounds like you do a lot of hauling and driving and fuel is an issue. I say work on the regulated return/fuel bowl delete and get yourself an aux tank.

Ya I was told by swamps that an hpop wouldn't be needed for those but was throwing it out there bc it was an idea.

Who would u recommend getting a regulated return system from. Like I said I alrdy have the air dog. Also if I do the air dog I am considering installing a sump as well but am worried about picking up junk from the bottom of the tank do you think I would have any issues with that.

I'd do 238/100's a t500 hpop, and air dog 2 with reg return and a sump. Don't need to bowl delete unless you're wanting more then 500hp. But if it doesn't get really cold where u are delete it. And that would put u at 400-500 but with pmr's I wouldn't go past 425-450.

For ur reg return I've heard good things about irate diesel's and strictly diesel's systems.

the bowl delete would be to let me get to the HPOP easier incase i needed to do some work on it. also being in east texas (bout 50 miles north of houston) the coldest temp i see is in the 20s and thats maybe for 1 or 2 weeks out of the year. hell yesterday it was 85.

Ok ya thats cool was js . If u do the bowl delete from what I've seen that's where the reg and all goes so its really not going to make it a whole lot easier but I could be wrong. I haven't had the money to do mine but I'm doing a bowl delete cuz my ultimate goal is 600hp or a DD. but other then that I'm going to do the same stuff I told u except probably bigger injectors at some point. But I'd be starting with the 238/100's.

ya it seems like you have a good plan goin cause from all my hw thats a 600hp set up

i think deleting the bowl and doing a reg return would make it easier to get to the hpop just because its probly easier to undo the lines for the reg return and get it out of the way than to have to unbolt the entire fuel bowl (just a guess idk for sure bc ive never looked at it) and it seems like just having lines and a little bracket in your way would make it easier to see the hpop and thusly easier to remove it from the truck if need be.

You will need more than 238/100's for 600... You'll need a lot more...

OP, I'd look at strictly for a bowl delete and all that... You will want to get rid of that bowl, it cleans up the valley and makes it much easier to find things down in there.
