i was wondering how to do the t/c lock up. can any one help me

 

If you dont mind me asking why are you wanting to do this. i have it done to my 2000. Its fun but it dont really make a differents with the bts trans i have... But on the other hand it works great for doing truck pulls.

 

i want to blow smoke and just to have

 

Blowing smoke is a pretty juvenile thing to do. Put a plastic bag over your air intake. That'll make it smoke.

 

want smoke? bag on the intake, and run mexican fuel cut with atf and motor oil. smoke blowers give diesel a bad name. why do you think we have DPF and urea now? because the EPA see's a diesel that blows smoke and the automatically think it's bad for the enviroment. have you seen that BMW commercial for their new "clean" diesel suv? yeah that commercial is all about givin diesels a bad name.

 

people mistake black smoke as power i dont mind some smoke every once in a while but with diesel going through the roof i wouldnt recommend it. if u want smoke dont put a bag over it or a towel dont do anything its a waste of fuel just dont run fuel injector cleaner in your take for a few weeks then stomp on it ull get some smoke but i dont recommend it its just ruins the names of diesels epa can go die in a hole they are killing diesels

Wow was gonna tell the guy how but I believe his last post was a little much cuz all that has been posted is true black smoke from mostly dumb *** teens who think its "cool" is why EPA has done what it has with dpf and urea and them showing up at SEMA this past year! Who knows what the EPA will do next!

you tell me just how much fun it is when you have to pull your engine and rebuild it, did you know that raw fuel washing down the cylinder wall and past your rings is bad? then it gets into the oil and contaminates it.
