I'm finally stepping into fatherhood and starting thinking about all the things I'll need. Does anyone have any good experience with child seats and supercabs? I started looking at the rear bench seat and it looks a little short for a car seat. Wondering what people use and what issues they have ran into. I'd like to make sure that I buy a seat that works with the super duty in case I ever need to use the truck.

 

I dont recall ever putting a car seat in my Superduty rear seat. Booster seat I did without issues.

My OBS had a rear facing car seat many times with my son and daughter. No issues.

Biggest mistake people make with car seats is not getting them tight enough. When I install a car seat I more or less get in the seat and FORCE it down into the seat. It MUST BE TIGHT and not move.

 

I have two little nieces and there in car seats you can do it but it's tight.. There wasn't much room back there but they were safe and that's all I care about.I have an ext. Cab
