I don't make thousands of posts to every forum across the web.. not hardly new as I registered a year ago.. I just don't frequent this forum.. yes I'm talking about miracle additives in a sense of debunking the mystery in them.. I apologize, its just high levels of boron, not moly.. the mystery has been out of the bag for several years

Default OIL

if you are running the Amsoil bypass system you can change the oil when the lab says its no good.
I have a 2003 CC SB Lariat 2 wd with 310,000 miles I have not changed the oil in 2 years.
Just change the 2 filters every 20k and send in a sample.
I run Rotola T 5 W40 syn along with all fluids and grease are syn.

I ran 13k on T6 in my duramax and lab reported a TBN of 6 left.. in theory I could push upwards of 20k - 25k before oil is 100% depleted. I have the parts to install a DIY bypass filter with a good donaldson filter in-line with my centrifuge.

Have you ever had the oil tested in the 2 years you have run it?

The duramax and power stroke have completely different oil systems. You can not compare them in any way, shape or form

I know this.. Ford's HEUI is HARD on oil.. does similar things as motorcycles with shared gearboxes
