i try to have all my crap together like air in the spare tire, but it just hit me today that my 01 i never had a key with it for the spare tire! my buddys 09 f450 didn't come with one and we were putting in a g/n hitch and one of his dudge buddies had one that worked. does anyone know if all these are the exact same and where to buy one? i was thinking ebay.

 

you need to go to the dealer and they will come out with a ring of them and find the one that fits and get you the correct one. if it was a dodge key then something is wrong. dodge don't use the key.

 

is it an actual key? and correct me if i'm wrong, but it is way down inside the tube where you couldn't actually see it really??? i seen some on ebay, the picture they show is right on the outside part of the hole which mine is not like that at all....
