Default Can I do turbo without Injectors...Or injectors without turbo?

I'm a realist, so it's not gonna break my heart if you tell me no foe either of these. I have a e99 7.3. Is it possible to do the injectors (238/100 or 238/80 hybrids) and still have the stock turbo on there till I get enough bank to upgrade turbo? I dont want the damn thing to "roll coal", and I would assume with proper tuning that this can be avoided untill I get bigger turbo. Or, would it be better to go the other way around. Can I get a d66 and leave it with stock injectors for a while? Will the small e99 injectors even be able to remotely spool it? Thanks with any help.

i would do the turbo first. i don't know that much about that turbo but it should be alright. for the injectors i would do the 238/100. when i get a little more in the bank i'll do turbo, HPOP, then injectors. or injectors, then HPOP. it depends on what injectors i get.

I've heard that hybrids will do fairly decent on a stock 17* pump. Idk about my 280,000 mile 15* pump though :/ When I do injectors dad has the ford IDS so I'll hook it up and make a couple runs while watch ICP and IPR percentage. If it's really that bad I guess I'll have no choice but to go stealth pump.
And I'd almost prefer turbo first. 1500 dollars for a D66 (while pricey) is still a reasonable goal for me to get to. 2k for injectors is a tough goal in my mind to meet. Bundle them and add in the HPOP.....there's no way I could do it all at once.

Do the supporting mods first. You will have to tune hybrids back quite a bit to not have a smokey hot pig. You might also start researching some fuel systems as well...

Alright. I was just worried that the truck wouldn't spool it up and would be even slower than it is now

And 2700 bucks? What are you getting? A modded h2e?

Nice, is that a drop in for your E99? And also, did anyone else read about the t4 mounting flange for 7.3's in diesel power?

Yeah I'm not a big diesel mag reader either. I usually get 5.0 mustangs and superfords, but It wasn't there. And diesel power was the only viable substitute.
That kit soungs good. I'm just not sure if it's worth it to me to do all that work. A d66 should flow good enough, and I don't plan on this being a fast truck. I'm worried it's gonna be to hot with the hybrids and a d66 though...
