Default Fuses blowing on 99 7.3 powerstroke

99 f250 7.3 powerstroke keeps blowing, (the book says) fuel heater, wastegate solenoid, and injecto driver module relay coil fuse keeps blowing when you turn on ignition switch. Any suggestions?

I agree, if your GP's are good it should still start without issue

Leave it unhooked, you won't need it,

General consensus is leave it unplugged, however I replaced mine when it went out. The replacement at IH was about $24 IIRC, when you pull out the old one you will see the design improvement they made on the new one. Just leave it unplugged until the next time you change your fuel filter and change the heater while you're in there, really simple to do. Mine did the same thing, it died, wouldn't start, #9 fuse kept blowing, unplugged heater and it ran great! But like I said I put in a new one, been fine since.

Hi again, W.

The fuel heater plug is white, two wires. Found near the base of the fuel filter housing on the back (passenger compartment side), as shown here, if the link works.

Be sure to trace back all wires of the components you mentioned, as I had 4 frayed and barely intact wires and 1 completely broken one...one was to the IPR sensor, which causes "problems".
