rebuilt motor or crate motor?

Default rebuilt motor or crate motor?

im probley gona need a new motor in awhile ive been looking at a geting a rebuilt motor from jasper but i was also looking at a oem crate motor i allready own a rebuilt jasper trans i heard when they rebuild trans and motors they strenthen the parts that ussaly fail but idk if this is true . i know theres a big stink with jasper but ive never had a problem with mine. i was gona do a fummins but dont have 8k

anyway any advice on this ?

nothing yet its got 250k miles on it but it was driven like it was stolen before i bought it and towed 5 tons every day in wv so idk when it will go but i just was just wondering what to buy if it goes

well does it show sings of being run hard? i wouldn't really worry about it. but you could get a over stock crate motor from one of the site sponsors

I would save my shiny pennies so when your engine really need to be rebuilt

i have a Jasper motor and trans in my 99 F250 with no issues what so ever. truck runs hard, and takes my beating.

okay and im not gona replace it till it blows hopefully not for a while. anyone know how hard it is to put a v6 cummins in a 2001 f250? they look nice when done right

a V6 cummins? never hear of those. i have heard of the I6 cummins.

Cummins does not make a V6 they make an inline 6. It's rather complex and time consuming but they make a kit. Search for "Fummins"
