the tranny should be fine u might want to do a bigger clutch plate i had mine it had 250k on it n it finally went out it towed 5 tons all of its life so they can hold a lot. now if you have the money id say drop the tranny and get a ats tranny (the purple one) they sell the BEST tranny on the market they have set ups for raceing to pulling or both they are like 5 grand but they are well worth it 500k warranty no questions asked. otherwise id talk to alligator about what you should do about ur tranny you can change out the gears witch is cheaper lota things can be done to it . just have to have the money

I would not **** on ATS if they were on fire. DO NOT GET AN ATS TRANS...

There warranty is not worth the paper it is written on. They have a well known history of weasleing out of tranny warrantys.

BTS is by far the way to go if your talking a 4r100.

A set of standard hybrids will give you all the power you could want and still stay relitively safe with the stockish motor.

238/100 hybirds
BTS trans
fuel system...

ATS's warranty changes all the time. a few months ago it was 3 year/ 300,000 miles. before was 2 year/ 200,000 miles and before that was 1 year/ 100,000 miles. 5 years might sound like much but it's really not. just because it's a billion dollar company doesn't mean anything. ATS focuses on quantity, not quality. but it's up to you if you want to be picking up pieces of your tranny from the ditch. if you want to black out a intersection and melt pistons then yeah they're who you need to talk to. just my .02
