i need a new box for my truck how much would it be to put a flat bed on or a new box?

 

Depends on the material of the flatbed. For a box, 1500 for a new takeoff and 500 to paint it...

 

you're average flatbed will be around 2K. i personally like flatbeds better than a box.

 

I ran across this same thing last summer except I already had a flat bed on the truck from the previous owner. I wanted to be able to just set things in the back end without having to strap them down, so I put a box back on it and sold the flat bed. It is an 8' bed and cost me about 2500 for the new bed with paint and spray-in liner. I love it and have no regrets. I also added a BW hitch since the hitch that was on it was home made and would not have worked with a box.

 

I have a flatbed with sides that fold down or take off. So much better than a standard bed. If you need a cap, you can put one on a flatbed and have huge amount of room.
