Default Diesel fuel leak!

I have a 2001 7.3 thats leakin diesel pretty good. Not from tank but is dripping from a couple of places. One through that little hole in the black pan in picture in my fuel leak album and other around where the engine meets the transmission as shown in other picture in the album. didnt know if maybe there is a popular place these things leak, please excuse my description because I dont know much about these things.

is the black pan under the bell housing? check and see if the fuel bowl is leaking. it's very common for the drain valve to leak. it will run down the vally to the drain hole at the back and run down the tranny.

Fuel bowl is top center/front of engine. Black round Circle, with the fuel filter under it. You may need to remove that 2 screw powerstroke cover to see it. Mine was leaking out the back from the yellow drain line valve.

Go to guzzles and order the fuel filter bowl rebuild kit and rebuild it. You might as well since you have to redo drain valve had same problem on mine, make sure you turn that lever ever so often that's how you drain water out of the system.
