just get a TS performance chip and get whomevers tunes you want to go with (Tony Wildman, Tyrant, Beans, Swamps, PHP,ect.) i ran TW for a little over a year, i really liked his tunes, truck ran smooth, had power, had a little bit of smoke (as much as stock OBS injectors can push) my only problem with them was when i got on the truck it would start to jerk, if you let out of WOT to fast the engine would shut off. i just had my chip retuned by Cale at Tyrant, ive only had it for a few days so a good review is out of the question, but all my friends running it love them. just get a custom tune, doesnt matter whos, and run it, if you dont like it, have someone else reburn it.

Just because PHP does not charge a lot for there tunes, does not mean they are bad!!!!
Bill@PHP is one of the best tuners out there for the 7.3L Powerstrokes!!!!!

I'm running a TS on my 99. I'll probably send it to PHP or Tony Wildman.

nevermind, 3 out of 20 are bad.
total diesel performance is tony wildman. the only thing i have ever heard bad about this tuning is that he is hard to get a hold of but that's to be expected when your going threw family troubles.

PHP tunes are the S--T..... I love mine and have sold a lot of them after installing mine. I am one that has to test before I recommend......Cooler on the pyro and lots better on the shifting....... only way I will go until someone proves something different to me.... Get you a TS and some PHP tunes and have some fun........
