i have a 2000 f250 with and its a automatic and the shifter came lose and with shift out of drive so i cant put it in park how can i fix that.

 

Take the steering column cover off and there are two screws that like to vibrate loose. You need to tighten those.

 

You don’t have to take it off. Just look behind the column and locate the shifter slider and replace the bolt. You will also see a little black adjustment **** you can adjust your orange indicator selector on the dash.
