Default early 99 powerstroke

Hello all i just recently bought a 99 f-250 for cheap what's some good cheap do it yourself things I can do to boost preformance and reliability

First thing I would do is get yourself a good set of gauges.

Default black smoke help

I have a E99 f-250 and i put a superchip programer in it and even on high performance it wont roll coal I cant figure out why

We'd love to help but please please please don't come on here asking for smoke... If you want power, we can help. If you want smoke then this will be my last post in this thread...

Let us know what your power goals are, if there is a budget constraint and what you use the truck for...

First thing you should do is change all the fluids since you just bought it.

First mods should be intake, exhaust and gauges...

No deff not looking for smoke I just thought that it was wierd I'm lookin to build a strong reliable 7.3 that i can use everyday

Look into getting some gauges, air intake, exhaust, and then some custom tunes on a TS based chip.. That will get you around 300rwhp and be as reliable as it gets... After that you have to upgrade injectors, turbo, transmission, fuel system... It starts to become less reliable and really an expensive slippery slope...
