Default Fuel Reset

The other day I was pulling out my old CB wires and pulled the passenger side kick panel off to access the wire. I removed the wire and tapped the panel back into place. Not knowing anything was wrong I got in the truck the next morning to drive to work. All was fine for the first mile or so, and then all the sudden my truck started to act like she was starving for fuel. She had no power and just didn’t want to move. Pulled over and drained water in fuel. No change in truck performance. Dang I’m stuck and broke down. I then remember seeing a switch on the passenger side kick panel. Pushed, reset and all was good. After some research I found out that this switch is a safety in the case of an accident and when bumped it will trip.

Yes it is a red button and it should be in the down position. You will know when you reset it. it is tripped you will push it down about a 1/4 inch and hear a click.
