Default CPS Help!

I have a 99 f250 superduty with 6 speed. It seems to lumber to start and once running the idle is very weak. It's actually stalled on me several times Just seems like the idle isn't right. Sometimes it misses a little and it really doesn't have any power until it hit's boost.

It's a 6 speed so I can really put the engine into the rpm band I want. But would love to see the truck have something real simple wrong with it.

just crossed 100 thousand miles on the ticker. And being it's a 6 speed it really rattles hard if you lug it. I am wondering if Buying a CPS is worth the gamble. Also which kind I should buy. Heard good things about DT444 CPS's but I see all kinds of em for sale. Where do I go for the best part at the best price?

thanks,
Doug

I would hit up RiffRaff or Partsguyed for a CPS... I would never buy from Pensacola.

How much should it cost? Does this sound like my problem?

do you have any way to check for codes? a auto zone scanner won't do it.

i'd take it to a good shop and have them look into it before i'd start throwing parts at it.

I'm looking to buy an extra cps just for a safety barrier between being stranded and possibly making the truck run better. What is the best replacement? So far the dt444 is the winner. Where do I find the best price?

thanks,
doug
