well I had to start some where and I did a foil delete. And it only took a total of a hour and a half not bad since I had to stop and go over to my buddie's house becUse my poor air 7 gal air compressor couldn't keep up with my die grinder . No really proformance improvement but u can hear that turbo whistle more so I would say it was worth it

how can you hear the whistle more? mine doesn't have the foil so i don't have anything to compare it to.

 

i readed that the material that they used was a sound deading material. Belive it or not there is a noticeable difference.

 

Ya the foil they used was meant to quiet the whistle a little. Plus its just ugly.

hmm, you think foil delete and cutting the cat would make a noticeable differince in whistle but still relativly quiet sounding truck?
Also, what are the steps to the foil delete. and any tips?

 

well they say that you can hear the whistle a little better. with the cat... probably not. but it will run better tho. for the foil- remove IC pipe, cut, peel, tear off foil. not to hard. i don't know if it's glued on or what but it shouldn't be to hard.

 

Farmings get a new downpipe I got 4 inch and I didn't know I had a turbo till I put on the downpipe get down for like 130 then just lil bit of 4 inch pipe too kick it out b4 ur rear tires ur good to go man
