Default How much boost!! do you get?

Alright i am new to the Compression Ignition so i have a quick question how much boost is to be expected during saying cruising down the highway doing around seventy-five or so. I am asking because cruising i am getting around 3-6 lbs of boost and if i nail it and leave my foot into it i reach around seventeen to the most i have ever got was eighteen and a half and that was when i left my foot in it for a min. I got a co-workers kids says that he is normally getting twenty and if he puts his foot in to it he gets almost twenty eight out of it we have pretty much the same truck except that his is drw and mine is srw. little more info about mine i have a stock style air filter which i just changed today so it is new. And the major reason for this is wondering if going with a 6637 would make a giant difference in the boost.

On a side note does anyone know what material the socks are made out of as i can run a sewing machine and do not think that the marterial for that sock is going to cost forty bucks.

Thks in advance for any help

I can max at about 27. I never cruise at 75.. But I do cruise at 65 and I will make 1-2 PSI. No leaks in my system, I have a leak detector.

Right now getting the truck paid off is the goal but i dont know the plan for getting the truck is getting a gooseneck camping trailer around twenty to twenty five footer so i am guessing mid four to maybe five hundred. I really want to pull almost anything with in reason and not feel like it is there if that helps. But for the time being i just want it to be reliable and it concerns me that there maybe a problem that i dont know about thks for ur help fordornothing

A stock truck with gauges, intake, exhaust and chip will pull a 20-25 ft trailer no problem assuming it isn't loaded down with steel 10ft high...

like 95powersmoker said, a 20- 25 foot trailer will be no problem. but i suggest you get rid of the edge and go for a TS style chip. and guages, intake and exhaust.

Ur the third person that has said to get rid of the edge r they really that bad on the tranny? And if u do go with a chip his there any way that u could use the readout from the edge for my gauges for now. I have read that if u try to use both that the chip will over ride the programmer. Just asking of trying to keep down the amount of $ I am trying to through at it right now. Also is there a thread about removing the tuner as I was not the one who installed it. And thanks again for the help
