First things first, this is all happening on a 99 F-450 that is stock, last year the HPOP went bad and so the engine got a rebuild with the replacement of the HPOP other than that we haven't had hardly any trouble with the truck till now.

I guess this all started tuesday morning when we started the truck up to go to work and there was white smoke coming out the exhaust. I didn't think anything of it though because it was chilly out and some white smoke first thing is normal.
Then we start to leave and it gets of idle for the first time since starting and it seems to miss and pour more white smoke out the exhaust and it was like that for the first 20 or so minutes that it was running, its done this every morning since then.
Now today it was doing it even worse and along with the white smoke and missing throttle response was gone for a few minutes after we got on the road, floor the pedal and it would either do nothing or just barley get to 1000RPM. Tonight when we left the job site it was doing the same things as this morning after sitting for just 6 hours at the job site and the white smoke was bad enough to white out intersections.

what does the smoke smell like? fuel? oil? coolant? sounds like you're burning oil.
