I wanted to add an after market guague to my 99' f-350 drw psd because we know how the ol' ford dash gauge can trick you, but don't have a clue how to on this motor. I haven't done any homework so I'm trying the easy way first.

 

There are two ports that can be used for oil pressure... one is on top of the HPOP and the other is on the side of the filter body.

 

Where does the factory gauge hook up to???

... Oil pressure is one of those things... the truck will not run without it so... But I do like mine...
