Default injectors

I got a 2002 powerstroke that would like to blow up been giving me fits for almost a year now looks like I need to replace the injectors is there anyone that rebuilds them or any advice

---AutoMerged DoublePost---

also this truck all but shuts down while going down the road or at least looses about 1/2 of its power and you have to stop and shut down and re start and then its fine for some times 1 mile other times 100 miles it seems worse if I am pulling a load also wont start inless plugged in even if it is 80 degres

Moved to the correct section...

As for injector builders, Rosewood, Full Force, Unlimited, Beans, Swamps to name a few...

Your starting issue is probably a glow plug relay issue.

Sounds to me like a poorly maintained truck...

My boss has an 02 f250 that did the exact same thing going down the road and it turned out to be the HPOP. It would run fine and the high pressure would run 1500 to 2000 cruising and then the pressure would suddenly drop to 400 to 500 and it lost power. Turn the engine off let it stop turning and then restart and it was fine for a little while. Sometimes a short distance and sometimes many miles.

I would definitely get it on a AE scanner before just throwing parts at it...

I have been fighting the same starting problem as you on his truck for 2 years. I haven't got an answer for that yet.

Check the HPOP and duty cycle...

Check the fuel pressure...

How many miles on it?

I HIGHLY doubt you need injectors, just do some maintance.
