How big of tires can I get?

Default How big of tires can I get?

I need new tires and I want the biggest I can get. 2001 4x4 stock wheels and I think 7" wide

285-75-16 or 305-75-16. no lift stock no rub.

305/70r16 for no rub. 315/75r16 will rub the back of the leafspring slightly when turned to full lock

Won't 315 75s bow up with a 7" wide wheel?

My truck had 315s on it when I got it and they looked fine. Maybe alittle bow but not bad. I wouldn't go any wider. I dont know if it makes a difference that i have excursion wheel. I think they are the same width wheels. I had to go to 305s to pass inspection

i was running 315s on my stock wheels, they will work but they are starting to wear a little wierd. i would say 285s is as big as i would go on stock wheels.

ran 315s on stock wheels with no lift. would only rub a little on the leaf springs.
