OK still trying the figure out what is wrong with my transmission.won't shift into second have to rev to 2.5 rpms let off gas then it will shift. did this for 2yrs started shifting perfect one day lasted 6 month now won't shift again. We put two new sensors in tranny, and replaced overdrive button since we found broken wires. still didn't work. trans. shops just say I need new transmission. The truck shifts fine once in second. Please help running out of ideas.

 

Pull codes, sounds like a VB issue but its hard to say.

 

Does your overdrive light flash?

 

o/d is not flashing. but it has in the past. pulled up a old code from a couple years ago when this first started happening PO732

 

OD light is a very limited indication of an issue...

No matter, it sounds like its time to pull the tranny and tear it down.
