Hey guys, I am new to the forum...been on here reading for a few months now just never registered. Anyway finally got myself a 00 7.3 and was wondering if anyone could help me with accurate mileage being it has a set of 37" and 3.73 gears. Its the Lariat so it displays a full tank at 29 Gallons equates to 377 miles or 13.3 mpg.
I know its terribly inaccurate though based on given tire size if I had to guess, Id think it be around 15 town 17 highway based on fillup routines.
Also does anyone know a good way to recalibrate the speedo....I was thinking of just getting a scanguage 2 for it and the other heads up items.

Last...off topic, The guy I bought the truck from whom I knew well never liked the vaccuum lines on the hubs so he removed them and locked the hubs in. Is there any drawback to doing this? Should I replace the Vac lines and take the centers off my rims to unlock and lock them when needed?
