Default 2000 f-250 4r100 help!!

i have this 2000 model and it doesnt go into second gear unless i let off the trottle, it revs high, then if i let off it will shift. any suggestions?
i know these dont have bands so im kinds beat..

Yeah, it's hitting third once you let off of the accelerator pedal.

Intermediate one way roller clutch is broken.

Rebuild time.

Uh....

It would take 5 seconds with a scanner to find out if second gear is being commanded by watching the state of the two shift solenoids. If second is being commanded, you need a rebuild.

Try this:
Does second gear kind of work when you put the gear selector in "2"?

Itsrarted working fine then stopped again?
got to be electrical? Right.?

I'm making ZERO judgments. Without being there and trying to tell you what's wrong would make me just as guilty as all of the other internet diesel experts out there.

I'm saying you have more diagnostics to do (or have a qualified shop do).
