Default ts 6 position troubles

Hello im new to the powerstroke world i have a few questions if anyone could help ive got a 99 psd 6spd i just installed a ts 6 position chip and it doesnt add much power the edge evo i had made more power any suggestions

Identical truck meaning same year, same motor configuration, same tranny?

Same production date both 6 speed both f350 dually 4x4 only difference his is ext cab mine is reg .the chip seems to work on first takeoff but that 5 seconds is it

I would check your truck out. I would bet you will have an ICP issue. Hard to say from the keyboard.

I tell people that my long distance x-ray vision is really bad.

i hooked my scanner to the truck and had a P0603,p0750,p0755,p0743,p1754,p1747 if i clear them the chip work again for one push of the throttle then throws codes again it acts like it is defueling

my dads truck would do that when he got his TS with generic tunes. granted his is an early 99 and the TS he got was from an 02. he sent the chip to TS and they reburned it for him, works just fine now, you might try that.

might want to find out if he actually has the same computer you have? is yours an early 99 or late99? if early could be the HPOP. My truck is a E99 and has the 15*HPOP and i just bought the 17* HPOP so i can get the full effects of the tunes, but mine are Tony Wildman tunes. other thing to think of is maybe you are loosing boost... bad couplers or possibly might have to get a boost fooler...

just some thoughts..
