REGEARING need help

Default REGEARING need help

I have a 2002 F350 7.3 with a 6inch lift on 35" tires and 3.73 gears i want to gear it for little mor pulling power i will be towing a 10,000lbs toy hauler and a seadoo trailer behind that total about 12,500lbs. so sould i go with 4.10 or 4.30's let me know what you guys have and the mpg loss .... i get 13-14 town and 17-18 highway thanks

Manual or automatic?

FWIW I like 4.10s with 35". It is a pretty good all around combo.

I would go no larger then 4.10... I have 4.30's and 37's and I hate it on the hwy. Fine around town, but 75% or more of my driving is not around town...

i too have 4.30s with 37" but i also run 40" mudders so it makes it better in both worlds

my truck is the daily driver so i would be happy right in the middle just want a little more low end while towing PS. got in intake 4" exhaust programmer wastegate
