Default water-meth injection questions

ok ill start out with a little info on the truck an driving habits. first off truck is 2000 has 270*** miles on her. I do mostly city driving, drive on the highway now an again. do the occasional pull. now ive got the upgrades you can see in my sig. im still only geting around 15mph. which isn't horrible, but was thinkn about adding water-meth injection for more power an mpg gains. ive done a little research but i would like some info from you guys that have experinced it first hand. any info an advice would be great. thanks in advance.

I personally don't think water-meth is the answer to what you are lookin for... It will add a little power but I'm not sure it's going to bring up your MPG's... Most guys use it for egt control...

Its a great mod, and you can set them up for better MPG, but your going to need to lug a lot of water to use it all the time.

not to steal ur thread but ive got a question that would fit in with this. assuming u (or i for the matter) do an mpg style set up to run every day would you see any decent gains at low speed. i ask bc ive always assumed a water meth kit set up for mpg gains was more so for higher speeds (say 50+) then for low speed city driving where ur stuck doin 30-40 the entire time

Your not going to be injecting water at low speeds, low boost, low EGT's will never have a kit coming on. The only place you will see MPG gains (if any) with water is on the hwy.

Speaking of power, we had a guy on the dyno this weekend make an additional 60 HP using 50/50.

430 on Stage 1's with it.

Thats pretty good. I made 40hp with stock injectors and a 38R... 351hp in colorado.

Made 468 on 238/30 with a TN and 40%... It will make some power, but above 40% the CP's go up QUICK!
