Any reviews out there on the Glow Shift 3 in 1 Diesel Gauges? They seem to be priced right.....But do you get what you pay for?

I am not a big fan of Glow shift... I think they look right at home in a civic... Not so much in a truck...

I am however bias...

Lol... Don't listen to that guy...

He is a gauge pimp..

Glow shift's quality seems to be hit and miss. I got my 3 autometer gauges for 220 and a pod for like 40 bucks or something. So Not a whole lot more than the glow shift deal and I feel much better quality.

I'm using their 3-1 gauge, paid $110 shipped. Their electronic boost gauge is spot on when I confirmed it with a second mechanical gauge I had. Oil temp taken at the oil filter runs around 190 degrees and my EGT's seem to be where they should be. No issues yet.

Personally, I dislike pillar gauges and an array of crap cluttering my dash. Been there, done that, too many things to try and monitor for one set of eyes. I'd rather have a nice central unit that scrolls through certain parameters and sends out a warning tone when I'm getting into trouble, but that costs more than I care to throw at my old truck. Glowshift's 3-1 was capable of monitoring what I wanted (really just concerned about EGT) and provided me a couple of extra parameters without costing me anymore of a footprint then a single gauge. I went with their analog EGT gauge as the main display and the two smaller LED readouts are Boost and Temp.

This is my first experience with glowshift gauges and I figured for the costs why not give it a try. I also had a few friends recommend them. I dislike the cheap look, but who am I to complain compare to how much I paid for it. At least the LEDs match my stereo...

From glowshift, it was a blemish sale. The lense had three spots on the inside that I can only see at night. They have an ebay store as well that you can watch.

Likely assembled in USA...

Being from the semiconductor business you'll find that electronic component wise those gauges both sport chips manufactured outside the US and or chips packaged outside the US. Sad fact and it seems hard as h*ll to find anything truly made in the USA anymore. Not trying to be a jerk (hopefully those couplers I ordered don't turn out to be a box a coal instead ), just stating a truth since it appears our country is becoming more and more of a service offering country then a goods producing country. Sucks for people like me who like production/engineering.

That being said, Glowshift appears to be located in New Jersey so you're supporting an American base company who supports chinese production. At least for appearances sake.

Isspro is made right in Portland OR... The older EV-1's were made over sea's, but Performax and EV2 are right on riverside way in Portland...
