Question 02 7.3L

hey guys i just traded my old idi in and got an 02 with 72000 miles on it. whats some good tuners if i wanna make a little extra power and blow some smoke? also are the auto trannys in these years pretty durable? thanks

TS 6pos and my tranny came out of a 7.3 with 420000 miles on it and I have put it through hell. It still shifts great.

The auto's in stock form are not extremely durable. I wouldn't worry about it too much unless it's showing signs of slipping or things like that...

where is a good place to buy one of those chips?

Some of the sponsors could hook you up...

Yes an EGT gauge is a good thing to have before messing with the fueling of your truck..

Not hard to install at all, just takes a little prepwork on the PCM...

this might be a dumb question but what is the pcm? and it shifts fine. first to second gear is really firm.

PCM is the Powertrane Control Module, (the engine and trans computer).

ok so it just plugs into there? is that the plug in right under the dash
