You should hope its a calcium solution, central NY now uses "Brine" or holy **** that crap eats my car. "Budget Constraints" have forced them to use the liquid salt for fast deicing and man is it messing up cars here in the snowbelt. I wish they'd go back to the Halite and cinders at least that gave a Ford 3 or 4 good years before falling victim to rust through. Ford doesn't honor their body warranty in NY due to the use of the Brine solution, my truck started the season with about 3" of slight rust on the door seam, I now have 2 rust throughs and the entire bottom of the doors is solid rust.
