My shaft in my factory turbo broke. How can i get the factory compressor wheel off?

 

... The shaft broke where? Must have broken on the exhaust side?

 

yeah it did right at the back of the ex. wheel. The wheel is rolling around in the exhaust housin.

 

Hate to tell you, but the turbo is more then likely shot.

But you have to get the compressor wheel off to get to the stuff to take the shaft out. Might be able to get a vice grip on the end of the shaft and then turn the compressor wheel off...

 

If you need you can buy a new shaft or it may be a good time to upgrade.

I had a friend who broke his shaft. He had to go to the ER for that. Then surgery. Sounded painful
