fuel pump going bad?

how to tell if your fuel pump is failing? my fuel pressure gauge reads inbetween 58 and 70 psi and moves alot is that normal

Does it move a lot at idle? or when driving. Typical psi is 55-60.

no its steady at idle at wot it drops to about 58psi with the cruse set at 75mph it stays at 70psi
