Another disappointment in this 7.3
like said before you are comparing it to a new truck and truck with mods. i felt the same way when i got my 96 12v and i was use to drive my dads 06 cummins. when i got my truck it was all stock and there is a nice hill by my house and you can't get a running start and i couldn't even get out of third gear it was like driving a ford ranger. know with my mods on the same hill i can hit fifth gear 3/4 way up with a load behind it.
Do yourself a faver and do not get the chip from TS... Go with Phill at Power hungry performance.... He has the TS style chip.. But his tunes would be twice as good as the TS tunes... Is it a Auto tranny???? if so then yes it would be a gutless pig...
Your HPOP might be weak to.. That will make them feel like a pig. And you will lose a lot of low end torque with a weak HPOP...
I just saw you said newer injectors are they stock???
PS: my 97 Powerstroke will blow the doors of my friends 99 cummins...
I am just messing with you

yes they are stock injectors and is there a way to test the hpop or if it is bad what do i go with??? also yes its a rebuilt auto tranny. But i did find another cummins i might be looking into as well and might use that one for my pulling truck and use the ferd for snowplowing
you HPOP is most likly good.. But could be weak... To test them you would need a HPOP gauge Isspro kakes a nice one... As for a replacement... Adrenaline HPOP from Dieselsite are realy good... They flow more Oil then a stock pump and higher PSI to...
As much as a HPO gauge is cool, it is not a good tool to gauge how good or bad a HPOP is working.
Pressure is only part of the equation, duty cycle and PW is also important.
What you really need is a good diagnostic tool, like Autoenginuity.
