Shoots up? Sounds like your coming out of overdrive. Are you pushing the truck hard when this happens? 2500 RPM's is fine. Do not lug a diesel, they love RPM's.

Again, it sounds like your truck is shifting out of Overdrive and into 3rd. Once you stop accelerating does it down shift.

Pull the chip and see if it still does it. If so, then you have a tranny issue. If not, then its the chip. Send the chip to someone to get new burns put on it.

Pick a tuner, be it Swamps, TW, beans, Gearhead, Elite, Tyrant, Di, etc... and then call them up and see what it costs for a reburn. Tell them you already have the TS style chip and just want some custom tunes... Should be around 100-150 bucks depending on who you go with.

I would do what Joe said and pull the chip though and make sure its something with your chip..
