i just did this swap on my 01 but kept the forestry bumper/wicnh combo i had . the way i did it was source out all the parts first.

first off is headlights, all the plugs EXCEPT for the headlight plugs will plug into the 07 headlights. you can pick them up from the dealer or a wrecker and splice them in wiring is simple. the bulb sockets that twist into the headlights for the markers and signals that the plugs go into will have to be from the 07 aswell because there on different angles than the 01 but like i said there the same dont no issues there.

mounting the headlights and grill into the stock header panel is easy, this is what i did. dfuser has a template on where to cut out on their site. cut small amounts , you dont want to cut to much. the 07 headlights mount in the two holes already drilled in the header panel above the stock headlight which require some clips to be bought from a wrecker or the dealer, and the lower portion of the light mounts in the two holes where the signal lens screws into.

if you dont want to cut yours you can always buy an 07 header panel.

the grill is pretty easy and mounts essentially the same as the 01 but since its taller so you cant use the lower clips that come with it, you have to zap strap it in.

hope that helps, any more questions just ask
