Hey guys, I'm lookn to upgrade the valve body in my 4r100.I've done some looking around and the most common one's I've seen are the bts, bd diesel, an the John wood. I've read some reviews that the John wood shift hard going into overdrive on normal acceleration. Any ways to my point I'm tryn to see what people got in there rigs, an how there doing before I go out an buy one blind. Please help thanks

i have a friend selling a BTS valve body right now.

 

BTS or JW, and as far as the shifting goes, that's up to the tune.

If it shifts to hard, you need to have line pressure turned down.

The VB will allow you to increase beyond stock capability, to hold power beyond stock.
