Default Tackometer acting funny

Just installed a rebuilt #2 injector and when I get on the throttle to accelerate onto the freeway it raises up to 2100 rpm and sits for a few seconds and then drops to 1900rpm and then starts to cimb again. Don't notice the engine response to be doing what the tack says it's doing, but does feel like it is lacking a little power(feels like it's holding a certain rpm guessing 2000) when it does this. After it goes threw it's little cycle (sit at 2100 drop to1900 and then climb)and when it reaches 2100 again the turbo gets alot louder and it rockets to 2500 rpm with full power. FYI when on the freeway at 2000 rpm 70mph and punch the gas this doesn't happen just at wide open throttle to accelerate to 70mph. Manual transmission by the way. My guesses clutch plate, turbo leaking, #2 injector or other injector is crappy? (Also had a gauge hooked to it and hpop and duty cycles and pressures and temps seems to check out.) Anyone have a guess?

Have you had the CPS recall done?

Could be the CPS, as thats about the only thing that could effect the RPM gauge.

(Tackometer thats why you spell check everything right)I'm a pretty smart guy but its spellings like this that make me look dumb.

Does the ZF6 have an output shaft sensor?

If so, a good scanner should show you any slip.
