First I have to ask what makes him think the injector is "bad". Whats it doing to lead you to a bad injector?

120k miles and a bad injector?

I'm with Joe, what's going on with the truck that you think one injector is bad?

He told me that he felt a studder and I told him to check icp ipr cps motor oil air filter fuel filter and he did everything and it didn't go away so he took it in and the guy he took it to told him there is a problem in clynder #5 either injector or just a dead hole and that's all I know

i don't know much about fords, but my work truck is a 7.3 and it did this, was the injector harness. something else to look at instead of throwing away good parts

Ya, with that low of miles, I would be looking towards the uvch... Might do a compression test also to make sure.

Need to run a Cylinder contribution test, watch the rotational values... Buzz test...

Once you get that done then if that points you in a direction go from there.

If nothing definitive then start looking at a compression test and a leak down test.

I just talked to him and he said some one did a buzz test and it was weak or something so idk but I did tell him about the uvch and he wants to check but is it worth it to look if he has already done the buzz test

Weak buzz could be a wire harness issue, could be an IDM issue... Does not mean the injector is bad.
