Don't think so, But it will keep your truck from setting a CEL/SES everytime you get on it and boost gets above about 22-24psi.
so it really serves no purpose in a boost regulator at all just keeps the computer from throwing codes, right?

It serves the purpose of allowing your truck to continue fueling when you get above that boost pressure...

alright boys i got the chip installed and man what a difference!! that thing is a huuugggeee difference from stock! thanks for everybody's advice and tips. i also installed the Sinister diesel Overboost annihilator as well and so far it has done its job. and why the hell didn't anybody tell me how tight it is to take the 10mm bolt out of the wiring harness, that was tough!

got the same year 7.3, Reading up on other peoples builds like this gives me great ideas for my future mods. any gains in mpg at all?

So far I have got 3 more mpgs witha semi heavy foot, the chip is well worth it!
