Just what I have experanced.
This is because it has been misrepresented by posts like yours. A guy called me just yesterday from X company asking all about it because of this very reason. He was not surprised by the misinformation and is very interested in our F8 hardware for his tuning after learing of how the chip firmware is actually designed. We are just waiting for the okay with pricing from his employer.

If there is so much "misinformation" or "misrepresentation", why aren't full product details available when it's released for sale? IMO, if I feel the need to ask 100 questions on a product, or if no nitty gritty details are available on the spot, I refuse to buy it. To me it comes across as shady.

You will find this announcement on all forums we advertise on and the December issue of diesel power magazine on page 32. Open source hardware is not an unknown technology. It's been around since the mid 1990's.

Let me know if we can answer any questions you may have.

tmcclure, no i dont have a boost relief valve installed. on extreme unless u have a boost fooler installed your pcm will only let you boost 22.5 lbs-24lbs max before it kicks a light for over boost an defuels truck, if your gunna run extreme get a boost fooler, just make sure you keep an eye on your truck with the boost fooler. the fooler will tell you map that your running a max of 22lbs boost so it alows ur truck to keep fueling as needed. just be carefull with the boost fooler

yes i couldnt think of the correct name thank you. an yes an no. if you dont have the annihilator you will never get the full potential of your chip or truck, if your not planning on driving the thing like you stole it but get into it every now an then you should be fine. i have 267*** on mine an i plan on installing one.

Overboost Annihilator

Don't think so, But it will keep your truck from setting a CEL/SES everytime you get on it and boost gets above about 22-24psi.
