Default 7.3 programer/chip questions

Im looking into buying a programer/chip for my 2000 Ford F-350 with the 7.3 powerstroke. Looking for suggestions on what would be the best choice for this truck.

Don't get a programmer. Get yourself a Custom tuned Chip. PHP, TW, Gearhead, Beans, Swamps...etc.

I just installed the TS 6 position in my 01 7.3, 6spd manual. Love it. Program is anti-theft, high idle, normal, 50, 75, 100hp. pull goose neck on 50, truck on 75. on 75hp, gained 3 mpg. Just got to learn to keep my foot out of it. It's got alot of giddy-up-go.

AGREED! At first I thought the generic TS was nice...then it was reburned by Swamp's...there is no comparison. Drop a request in the "price quote" section and one of these vendors will have/or can get what you need.

Alot depends on who does it, and what you want. My Swamp's reburn was $100 (I got a deal due to mis-information) but is normally $200. I think Tony Wildman is $150. Site sponsors could surely get you a good deal too.
