just bought glowshift oil pressure gauge it came with a sending unit and doesnt tell me where to tap it in...any ideas where i hook it up under the hood ive heard the oil cooler but i cant find the damn oil cooler on this truck anything will help THANKS

so if i buy an oil pressure gauge i can mount it on top of my hpop res? will that tell me the engine psi or hpop psi?

 

That will show you LPO... The only place that has HPO is in the HPOP, Lines, Rails and Injectors...

 

so if i wanted to put a gauge on the hpop where would be the best place to put it?

 

In one of the ports in the head... Isspro makes a HPO gauge in both the EV2 and Performax line...

 

oh so just remove one of the plugs on the back side of the head? oh alrighty i know what you mean, a friend of mine did that last winter to tell if my hpop was bad, i know what you mean now

ya we pulled a plug and put a tester on one to make sure the hpop was bad, thanks!!!

 

i pulled the little rectangle bolt out near the back of the block and plugged my oil pressure gauge in there thanks for all yalls help tho now i know where to put the hpop gauge too! thanks!!
