Its a good think we dont live in a perfect world or you might expect someone to be perfect. When you build thousands of transmissions your bound to have one be bad or a mistake be made. No different in any other industry or product. There are thousands of happy customers that will attest to a good product and service. I'm sorry to hear that you were unlucky.
I've had a completely different experience and after meeting Wade and spending time with him I know exactly where ATS stands. If you want to speak of ATS's customer service lets ask people like Brad Mekinin and the DirtyMax crew, or Chris Calkins and the Orange Crush crew. In every class of diesel racing typically 7 out 10 of the top racers use either Suncoast or ATS so I believe that speaks for itself.

Just subscribing... this should be good...
Thats obviously not the case.

Well lets see... DHRA national champ runs a John Woods... Most of the high end pullers use BTS... In fact the only High output 7.3 that runs an ATS is Snow White... and David has gone thru quite a few...

As far as race teams... DUHHH did you think they would not walk there trannys thru??? I mean come on...

ATS SUCKS for customer service, there warranty has more loopholes then a hangman's noose. Read it... Its better then the contracts I use in the construction industry...

Ok, you've spoken your opinion. Sorry that you had a bad experience but now lets get this thread back on productive topic without the attitude.

BTW- I know David Lott and Nate Dwyer well. I only live a few blocks from Dave and have spent more time at his shop than I can remember. I'm WELL aware of what he runs and why.

I am going to have to Second Suncoast. We have had great luck with their products and they know what they are doing.

AS for the "cheapest" place to get a transmission, I don't think cheap and transmission should be in the same question. IF there was only one place to not cheap out its the transmission. Believe me, you get what you pay for. Not saying the more expensive the better, but within reason, cheap is what it sounds like, cheap.

Now, for affordable serivices, There is always NADP. They use Suncoast parts and have a pretty competitive price on their stuff. We get alot of out reman manuals and t cases from them, and have yet to have an auto from them fail on us.

I forgot all about NADP. They do have a pretty good track record with their trannys.
