How do you know when your trany is going out??

Default How do you know when your trany is going out??
Can anyone give me some tips on what are signs that my trany is going out. I've never had one go out so I'm not sure what is feels like. If you have some input I would love to hear it. Thanks guys.

if its an auto it starts slipping then you start loseing gears. when mine went out all i had was 1st gear and reverse. check the fluid if its slipping if its to low it will slip.

It could use new trans fluid. It just runs ruff in 2nd and when givin it gas I replaced the ebps and new oil i'm kinda stumped
