what did I do???
I have a 1999 Ford f550 Western Hauler. chiped and dipped before I got it, also has a Gear Vender overdrive. I have never had ANY issues with this truck! I have owned it for eight years and it has had excellent maintenance. It has 125000 miles...Yesterday I came off the freeway and noticed my truck was missing...hadn't noticed a loss of power before exiting , but when I stopped WOW....... I have a top end noise, a dead miss, and positive internal block pressure. It did not overheat and still has good oil pressure. I pulled the oil filler cap and it puffs pressue. a little smoke out the exhaust but no oil!!! What happened???

there is no oil splash under the hood so i would assume the air intake valve would be a good guess. will that requie a head removal or is that somnething i can repair by just pulling the valve cover?
